Halfway into the second week back at school and things are in full swing in the classroom. Here's an update on what we are working on:

ELA A 30
We are wrapping up our introduction to Canada in literature and we are working on narrative writing. We will also being looking at "voices of the past" in Canadian literature

History 20
While we are still working on the First World War we will be shifting our focus this week to look specifically at Russia and the underlying causes of the Russian Revolution

Native Studies 20
This week we will be working on an inquiry of First Nation cultural groups in Canada.
Remember that your first current event is due on Friday September 18,

History 10
Continuing with social contracts this week we will be focusing on the government of Canada and the upcoming federal election

Health 6/7
We only have class once this week, but we will still be looking how at how we decide what our personal standards and values are.

Welcome back to school! I am very excited to be a part of Raymore School! My blog will be a place where you can come to find out what we are doing for the week in the classroom and  what homework and assignments you have due and when.
